Richard Nairn - Managing Director

Hugely experienced project manager for over 500 ecological surveys and monitoring projects, mainly for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
Member of government-appointed teams to prepare management plans for National Parks and Coastal Zone Management Policy. Commissioned by National Roads Authority to prepare Guidelines for Assessment of Ecological Impacts of National Road Schemes.
Former Director of the Irish Wildbird Conservancy (now BirdWatch Ireland)
Experienced expert witness at oral hearings.
Author and published extensively in scientific literature.

Ciara Hamilton - Projects Manager

International Masters degree in Ecosystem Conservation and Landscape Management
Special skills in protected species survey including bat survey, large mammal survey, bird survey, and rare plant survey
Experience in habitat surveying, mapping, monitoring techniques, surveying and evaluation of peatland ecosystems; and in the restoration of remnant raised bogs in Ireland and the Netherlands
Other skills include bird identification, GIS and AutoCAD mapping and IMO certified in the use of marine oil spill response equipment
Member of The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)

Andrew Speer - Projects Manager

Broad experience of field survey and sampling methods; including mammal surveys, habitat surveys and aquatic sampling.
Experience in fish larvae and plankton identification and statistical analysis.
Employed as the site ecologist for the construction of the N8 Cashel to Mitchelstown National Road Scheme with experience in habitat salvage, watercourse realignment and the implementation of mitigation measures on road schemes.
Other skills include bird identification and AutoCAD mapping.
